The best interactive experiences don't feel designed at all. They just feel right.
Rigging in Rive opens up a level of interactivity that goes far beyond traditional animation — and this project was built to explore exactly that. The Interactive Water Bubble lets users manipulate the wave in real time, adjusting its wavelength and height while the bubble itself tracks and responds to cursor movement. It's the kind of tactile, playful experience that's hard to put down once you start playing with it.
Under the hood, the behaviour is driven by a custom control rig that connects user input directly to the animation's physics — making the motion feel genuinely alive rather than scripted.
